About

Since I was a child music has been my main passion.  My parents surrounded me with music and musical activities.  I began playing guitar at age 8.  I was fortunate enough to take lessons from many amazing teachers who inspired me to stick with the instrument.  Throughout middle school and high school I played in garage rock bands as well as sang in the school’s choir. In high school I joined the school’s jazz ensemble and took my first steps towards playing guitar professionally.  During this time my love for audio engineering was sparked.  I started recording local artists and my own music in my room at my parents house.  These activities eventually lead me to attending Wayne State University where I studied music technology and jazz guitar.  Throughout my time in school I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work at the school’s TV station that airs on PBS, the schools radio station which is partnered with WDET, and at the DSO for WSU’s Mondays at the Max showcase events.  These opportunities allowed me to meet many amazing people, professionals, and musicians.  Outside of school I was able to build my work experience through studio internships while playing in a couple local bands and making beats. Currently I work at The Soundscape Studio & School For The Recording Arts in Royal Oak Michigan.  I am always looking for new opportunities to contribute to the Detroit area music scene.  My goals going forward are to grow as a musician, guitarist, and audio engineer while giving back to the community around me.  Check out my portfolio tab for links to my own music, my work as a guitarist, my beats, and my studio work.
